Mr. Tom Dixon

Chief Technology Officer

Yext Company

One Madison Avenue, 5th Floor,

New York, NY 10010

Dear Mr. Dixon,

I’m writing with the utmost enthusiasm to express my interest in the undergraduate Software Engineer Intern position for Summer 2020 at Yext company which I found in Linkedin. Currently, I am a junior at The City College of New York, majoring in computer science. I read about the company and that was impressive to me because of the excellent work the company does in offering brand updates and using its cloud-based network of apps and many other facilities. I would like you to consider me to be part of dynamic software engineers team because Yext is one of the best equal opportunity workplaces. I believe this position can perfectly align with my technical and soft skills.

My technical skills include extensive knowledge in programming, Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and One Drive), algorithms, math, and OOP language specifically I have experience using java. In my previous college Borough of Manhattan College, my team and I were assigned to do a project that converts temperatures in Java using GUI. Thus, I understand how to cooperate with a team of Engineers.

My soft skills include my productive personality, excellent communication skills, and fast learning help me to get involve and stand out from other applicants. I believe I am responsible and I have the ability to pay attention to details. I am capable to adapt quickly to changing environment and work under pressure. The attached resume will provide you with more information about what I have to offer if chosen for a position requiring my skills.

I appreciate your consideration for my application and I hope that my skills align with your needs. I am particularly excited about the opportunity to learn more about software engineering and how I can contribute to that effort. I would love the opportunity to further discuss my interest in the position, and I can be reached at (222)414-2410 and aabdelr001@citymail.cuny.edu. Thank you for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,

Aliaa Abdelrahman
